20 Weeks Plan!

Starting – Tuesday, May 31 – 194.5….starting today I need to loose 2.74 (NEW) pounds a week to hit goal by 10/15/11!!!

* Get up to 25 miles a week by the end of the month!

* June 15th 5k…..under 40 minutes which would be about 3 minutes faster than my fastest race in ’10!

* Loose 10 pounds.

* Retire my first pair of running shoes!

Changes!

These are some changes I have noticed in the past week or so :)

On 1/11/11:  On 1/4/10 I was sportin’ a size 22 skirt. Probably should have been a 24 but I refused to buy one. So I kept the 22 and wore looong shirts (PTL for hoodie season!) to cover the fact that the zipper wouldn’t stay up. Yesterday I tried on a 16 AND ZIPPED IT UP. I seriously can not WOO HOO loud enough!!!!!!!!

On 1/12/11  Woot Woot!!! So I have these red dress shoes and I needed a a sweater to go with. We were at the resale shop and I found one!!!! “Cept it was a **L**.  I got it anyhow thinking I would eventually shrink into it. So I had myself all talked into the fact that it wouldn’t fit and well IT DID!!!!! I get to wear my red shoes today!

1/18/11:  Well H.E.L.L.O. size 14 shirt!!!

A Change…..in Running!!

So you remember the my “story” my sad story of running ;)

Back in March when I started I could barely run for 60 seconds. Barely and when I even got close it just wasn’t pleasant!!

The other day I ran 3 miles. The whole thing with no walking or stopping to catch my breathe. Last night I decided to run “just” 2 and could not believe how easy it was!!! Now it was slow. I’m not winning any races here. BUT I am finishing. And can’t believe I am saying this but…….it was pleasant!!!!

YAY for progress!!!!!!

Yesterday at weigh in I lost 33 pounds!!!! YAY!!!!!

And I was swinging and looked down at my legs….I am starting to notice that everything is getting smaller ;)

Jumping Jacks.

Part of the 30 Shred is doing some jumping jacks for the cardio time. Have I ever mentioned that I don’t like doin them? Well I don’t :) But I have worked up to doing them YAY!!!

Then Level 3.

She wants me to do them WITH weights? has she gone crazy??

Well with a little extra breathing………. I DID THEM WITH the weights!!!!!

2 Brown Sweatshirts :)

We have 2 brown sweat shirts. Carhartt for Hubby and Nike for me. The other day I grabbed a brown sweatshirt to head to a dr appt. While at the appt I noticed that I had on the Carhartt. Yay!!! I tried that on before the weight loss and it was tight!!! This time I didn’t even notice it wasn’t mine!!!!!
